His paintings are complex, colourful, and psychedelic. Born in Detroit, David West lives and works in Paris, after long artistic spells in New York, San Francisco, and Chicago. A number of his drawings and illustrations are published in such magazines as Actuel, Paper, New York Press, Red Tape, Libération, Nuke, Double, Yeti, K48, etc. His latest exhibition was at the Klang and Kruger gallery in Berlin, on October the 16th, 2009.
