First EP to be released on October 18th on Awal/Kobalt.

With only two releases under his musical belt to date, Joesef received a first play from BBC R1's Annie Mac on his recent single ‘Loverboy’, and went on to garner support across R1, 6 Music, 1Xtra and Beats 1 as well as being named Apple Music’s Artist of The Week on release.

Joesef’s honesty is a huge part of the appeal of his sound. He writes, records and produces everything in his bedroom at home in the East end of Glasgow melding Motown soul, hip hop beats and jazz guitar. With new single ‘Don’t Give In’, his already distinctive vocal deftly depicts his narrative of love lost – remembering a time when the one he loved, loved another but didn’t have the respect or courage enough to come clean.
