“Tick-Tock, tick-tock”, you hear as the crocodile approaches in Peter Pan. This incessant noise, evoking the threat of remorseless jaws, recalls the precariousness of human life. For as long as we can remember the flight of time has been one of our main preoccupations. On the stage of the Théâtre du Châtelet Arne Vinzon and his musicians have decided to prove in images and songs that there are plenty of subterfuges we can skilfully use to thwart time!
Welcome to the game of hide-and-seek with Time. In 60 minutes, stopwatches poised, 5.4.3.2.1.0: ready, steady, go! Arne Vinzon is a group of musicians whose melancholy makes you laugh and smile. It has a strange name and it is strange – for a start there a several of them, although you’d say that the guy was on his own. Physically, the singer is starting to look old and the musicians never shave. In short, Arne Vinzon isn’t the most easy-going, it’s hard to pronounce and you have to write it down so that people can understand. Delivered up on stage with lively synthesizers and a variety of dances.
Arne Vinzon has brought out two albums on the label Dokidoki: “Le Monde Entier” (2011) and “Les Belles Structures” (2013).
