- Pretty vanity, my favourite record sleeve involving a disco-ball.
- 04. Sylvester - Living Proof
- This picture bluntly reminds me that I have never knew the 80’s and that therefore, I don’t really know what to go clubbing means. All those people on the picture, ready to go over the frame, give the impression that you need to be on the guest list even to listen to the record.
- 05. Bashung - Osez
- Amazing portrait, the arm’s disposition moves the gaze around until it stops on the title and that a smile is hinted.
- 06. Alan Vega - Jukebox babe
- I really like Alan Vega’s outlook on this portrait, it is difficult to explain, the arm evokes a contrite dance move, the energy is hold off, he has got tired and a slightly crazy eyes, between languor and distress. The fact that he is in profile add to this sensation of evasion. Alan Vega is a wild human being.
- 07. High Places - High Places vs. Mankind
- I am not a big fan of macro but when it’s well achieved as here, it works pretty well on the vinyl format and it makes a great decorative object. Among the infinite combinations of colours and texture, this one feels good.
- 08. Black Flag - Damaged
- It is necessary to choose between efficiency and subtlety. From the framing of the object to the subject, everything conspires to this raw and veiled picture.
- 09. Boris - Akuma no uta
- Referring to the famous Nick Drake’s album cover, tip-top Japanese post-modernism.
- 10. Steve Reich - The Desert music
- Contrast and repetition in black and white, beautiful illustration of the minimalist movement.
